September 2007	Guys, Just to say thanks for a fantastic week's surf schooling on Fuerte - Claire and I both very very much enjoyed it. Thanks especially to Tom, Gregg and Bob for their patience and for (repeatedly) explaining what I should have been doing without making me feel stupid and with a clear passion for surfing and the ocean. From the very first day I saw improvements in my surfing, and it's re-fuelled the 'stoke' to continue getting out there and giving it a go...despite not being blessed with 22 deg. C water over in the UK, dammit! Claire loved the opportunity to come along, chill on the beach, and get involved without actually having to go surfing. We both loved the daily bocadilla (?) and cakes/restaurant recommendations too. Special mention also to the very cool Sara with whom we were lucky enough to have lunch with on our final day, even being able to pick up the tri-lingual (not that I'm jealous, honest!!!) Matthew from pre-school - a lovely insight into non-touristy island life! Hope the new surf lodge goes well, I'll spread the word in the UK! Right, just booked a long weekend in Croyde and there's a nice little swell coming into the bay right now so I guess I'll get to practice those lessons sooner than I expected! August 2007	Hi Sara, Just got back to the UK and wanted to just drop you a note of thanks. I had a great day surfing thanks to lots of expert and helpful guidance from Tom and Greg and I took away several key points to apply to my surfing back in the somewhat chillier Devon waters. I've taken a couple of courses with UK based surfing schools and also booked up with **** holidays last year, but 7 Island were by far the most knowledgeable, helpful, etc. Thanks once again - hope to be back again next year! It is lovely to know you are a small family business with a growing family of your own. I felt very looked after, accommodation provided, lovely, relaxing, easy + what we needed. Tom, you are a gifted teacher and felt you are professional about surfing + our safety. Also playfull, fun & passionate about this pursuit which in turn helped me to stretch myself. Its been great bringing 4 friends with me and Toms tuition was so good we were all standing and catching green waves by Day 4. October 2006	Back to our daily working and studying life, we reminisce about an amazing holiday of (3-days) surfing and socialising with a great group! Tom and Gregg were fantastic surf instructors!! Very professional, flexible and adding lots of fun. Even though our muscles were going through a rough time, our minds couldn´t get enough! Especially when we first stood up on our board and were riding an actual wave! Okay..., it was only a white one, but hey, for the first day surfing, this was such a high that we didn´t even notice the (muscular) pain anymore. Golden (but painful) tip for the next morning (and the next couple of days): stretch, stretch, stretch! We will definately be coming back and try to catch the green waves (better) this time. However, first bootcamp training for our arms (paddle paddle away...).Sara, Tom and Gregg, thanks so much for your professionalism, your care, your help, your fun and the great evenings with the rest of "our" group at Corky´s. 4th February 2006	Tom and Sara, Even though the sun has only just really started to shine at the end of our week, we´ve still had a great week ! The surf lessons were fantastic. We both learnt and improved a lot thanks to the great coaching and being thaught at the right level. Can´t wait to get back in the water back in the UK ! Thanks to Sara for all the help with booking our holiday too, very helpful ! The arrival package was very helpful, we tried most of the restaurants and they were all great ! 25th January 2006	Tom and Sara, Many thanks to the 7 Island Surf Team for a truly brilliant week of surfing in Fuerteventura. Tom is a talented & inspiring coach with a real passion for the sport. The "hands on" approach means you learn more rapidly from coaches in the water next to you, going the extra mile to prioritise safety, development and fun. We had a brilliant time and could see real progress over the course of the week. Techniques such as video analysis allowed us to see exactly what we needed to work on, and steps to improve were carefully explained. We also enjoyed the opportunity to surf many different types of breaks and styles of waves, from reef to beach to point breaks. Fuerteventura is a wonderful surf destination with plentiful options for every level of surfer, and 7 Island Surf is the perfect host, coach and guide ! 25th January 2006	Tom and Sara, Thank you so much for a fun-filled action-packed week of surfing!! Tom, you are a really great, totally dedicated coach and made the sessions really enjoyable and useful. I really feel I´ve got the best of this trip and 7 Island Surf has been a massive part of that. You guys were so friendly and hospitable and great to hang out with ! On more of a surfing note, it was great getting to surf a variety of breaks-and my first reef!- and the lessons and post surf video analysis really helped !
